Room 5/6 Assembly

Last week room 5 and 6 held there second assembly for the school, It was involved with a lot and we all enjoyed it, we performed a few items like a dance that whaea sally challenged us to, a few facts and poems about women suffrage, some poems about the Christchurch tragedy, the shallow song from the movie A star is born, and it even involved one of the deputy prime minister. It was a great assembly and again we all enjoyed it.

Inspirational quotes room 5

This week Room 5 have been working on some inspirational quotes we have each got some off the internet and no we never wrote them ourselves but we did see which one helps us and fascinates us the most. The fun part about this was probably reading everyone's because it reflects them the most and there quotes go really well with them. There all really cool and pretty inspirational take a look. Voyagers

Welcome to my first blog post of the year, in room 6 and 5 we are going to be doing free writing every Monday mornings, free writing is  where we get to choose anything we want to write about every Monday. This week i have decided to do a series and hopefully next week I can carry on from this next week, hope you enjoyed my blog writing and make sure to check my new one out next week.
We set sale along the south island of New Zealand, waves smoothly skim across the bottom of the boat as we move along the coast, not a single person but us knows where we are or were we are going, most people don't even believe in them, and most don't know about them, they wouldn't even believe it with there eyes if they saw. we navigate by using the stars, we each take turns at sailing...

2018 reflection

This week room 5 and 6 tasks was to make a DLO about our 2018 reflection. I found it was a lot of work to do and I found it a little hard because I had to write a lot about my learning and a lot about what I was involved in this year, I had to really go in depth and explain a lot about. But on the side note I found pretty fun to make and create a prezi presentation  and I would again make another one if I had to. Take a look at my presentation about my 2018 reflection.

Buoyancy

Over the past term room 5 & 6 have been working a lot on buoyancy and how it works. Our task aso was to make a presentation all about buoyancy, like how things float, why things sink, density, surface area and much more. I didn't really like this task as much as I would because I don't really know much about this topic. I did only a little bit enjoy task because I was working with a couple of people and they helped out a lot. Take a look at my buoyancy topic.

This week Room 5 & 6 task was to create any type of writing we got choose out of poems, reports and lots of others. Today I decided to create a I am poem. I found this pretty easy because i've did a lot of these before. I also kinda enjoyed it because it was a pretty easy task and it didn't take that long. Take a look.

My student confrence

since last term room 5 and 6 have been working on our student conferences if you don't know what a student conference is, it's a slide about yourself and how you've been doing over the last terms, when you've finished your student conference your parents come in and you talk about your work and behavior with them. this week we have had our parents come in and talk with us. This was a hard time because it took for ages and we had to write like haw the teachers would write our report. it as pretty cool though and I hope to have another one of these. check it out.
