Day 1: Explorers- Act:1

This is my first day for the summer where, not only me, but plenty of other kids around New Zealand will be creating our first blog posts and comments for the summer learning journey. For this topic, my task was to make a list of ten food items that I could take alongside if I were to go on a voyage. I actually found this task a bit challenging, as too I was to choose wisely with my food options and was only able to think of 5. Other than that it was a pretty cool task to think about , and cant wait to write more.

  1. Hi Payton its Mahuta in Nga Rau Rangatira. I am so glad your doing the summer learning journey this year I know you will be great at it like in the past. I wonder if you know that there are 3 activities a day? Maybe next you could try to do 3 but you don't have to if you don't want to its up to you. Other than that great blog.
    Blog you later:)

  2. Kia ora Payton!

How are you doing? Olive here! How's the weather in Northland? It's super soggy and wet down here. I'd much rather be in the sunshine!

Thank you so much for a great blog post! I'm so excited you decided to continue with The Summer Learning Journey! I really like how you've made such a groovy poster! What cool colours and pictures! Just make sure you include the link to the photos as it's super important your readers can see where the artwork came from. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about what food you'd take on holiday! Trail-mix, brown rice and energy bars sound really useful. I think you’d be a great survivor! Please remember to read the question very carefully: “post your list of 10 food items”. I think you’ve only listed five? We can’t award full marks if the activity isn’t fully completed. Other than that, I’m super keen to see more of your work. Ka pai on an excellent post!

What is your favourite food? I love pasta and I’d eat it all day on the island!

Thank you for your blog post

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive

  3. Kia ora Payton,

My name is Taleisha and I am a year 8 student commenter. I was given the job by Tayla. She will comment on your blog posts at some stage in the holidays :)

Your poster looks really cool! It looks you put a lot of work into it. Your explanation for each food is very well, explained. But just remember to read the instructions properly. Unless you are creating another DLO with 5 more foods then just remember to read the instructions or else the other commenters cannot give you full points.

Look forward to seeing more of your blog posts during the rest of the holidays :)
    Taleisha
